Weave Movement Theatre is collaborating with internationally known performance artist Yumi Umiumare, presenting an exciting new performance piece for the ‘Forbidden Laughter’ ButohOUT! Festival. Weave performers will appear alongside Yumi Umiumare, Tomoko Yamasaki, and others in the atmospheric Industrial School in the Sacred Heart building at the Abbotsford Convent. Walk to D'Feet Motor Neuron Disease (MND) symbolises the hope that MND will one day be eliminated whilst also serving as a memorial for those that have been lost to the disease. Participants organise teams made up of family, friends and colleagues, regardless of age or fitness levels, to raise funds for MND SA client services. The 5km walk followed by family fun day was held for the first time at Jimmy Melrose Park, Glenelg in 2018.Find out more
